Privacy
Brain Sheet sets no cookies, runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and has no accounts or forms, so reading pages and answering practice questions leaves nothing with us. The one exception is the “Get the PCCN app” button: it passes through a redirect we run, which writes a line to a server log each time it is used.
Reading pages and taking the quiz
The pages are finished HTML files served by our host, Cloudflare Pages, which, like any host, may keep routine request logs under its own policy. Fonts and the quiz script load from this domain; no page calls a third-party server.
The practice quiz runs entirely inside the open page. Your ticks and the running score are never sent anywhere and are not saved in your browser: reload the page and the sheet is blank again. That also means your progress cannot be restored on another visit.
What the app button records
Every app button points to go.pccnquestions.com. It reads your device type and forwards you: iPhone and iPad to the App Store listing, Android phones to Google Play, computers to a short page with both store badges. After it has answered, it records these fields:
| What is logged | Detail |
|---|---|
| Page and button | Which page the button was on and where on the page it sits (top, hero, end and so on), read from the link itself, and any other parameters in the link. |
| Device and browser | The operating system family (iPhone and iPad, Android, or other) and the browser's user-agent string. |
| Network | Your IP address and the network provider it belongs to. |
| Rough location | Country, region, city and time zone, estimated from the IP address, and the network edge location that served the request. Not GPS, not a street address. |
| Where you were sent | The App Store, Google Play, or the short page with both store badges, plus the referring page address your browser sends and the time. |
A tap on a store badge or on the practice-test link on the computer page is logged the same way.
The log is stored on a server we run and is used to measure which pages and buttons lead to app visits and installs, so the pages that help get worked on and the ones that do not get fixed or cut. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers and not used to build a profile of you.
What is never collected
1Never collected
Your name, email address, phone number, license number or exam date. There is no field on this site to type them into.
2Never set
Cookies, pixels, fingerprinting scripts or any identifier stored in your browser, on the site or on the redirect.
3Not here at all
Advertising, analytics or tag-manager code, and sign-in with Google, Apple or any other account.
After you reach the store
The store link carries a campaign label naming this site, so installs that started here can be counted in the store's own reports. The label describes the site, not you. From the moment the App Store or Google Play opens, Apple's or Google's own privacy policy applies, and the app has its own privacy policy on its store listing.
